Synopsis
Edwin Allen Mercer I want them all to read my words. And they do. Every last blood-stained sentence, they've read and praised me for. They love the gore and violence, the realness. And I get a sense of power with it all because I know a secret: the victims in my books—they’re real and have all died on my table. And maybe that’s why the last book had such awful reviews. Murder is, after all, a dirty little thing. Some can stomach it. Others can’t. My answer to those reviews: find a woman to co-author with. To be the next pathetic character in my book. Pity she’s so pretty. Miranda Cross All I’ve ever wanted was to be successful as a writer so when I was offered the opportunity to co-author a book with my idol, EA Mercer, I jumped at the chance. He’s beautiful and a literary genius, but something about him makes my stomach knot. And maybe it’s my overactive imagination making my hairs stand on end when he walks up behind me. After all, these wicked little words we’re typing are only fiction. They’re only fiction...

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Series: Say You'll Stay, Book 2

Blurb

From New York Times Bestseller, Corinne Michaels, comes a new friends to lovers standalone romance.

There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington.
He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.

It proves easier said than done.

When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone.
The problem is—when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real . . .

Review
Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels was the perfect balance of angst, love, fight, and Wyatt. I love when books take me on a journey where I can image myself there with the characters. This is what this book felt like. I was living the story and I was feeling it. It was so much fun to be able to experience such turmoil and feelings. It had my heart jumping all over the place but I wouldn't change it. This book is perfection.

Angie was not a character I cared for or one that I connected with in Say You'll Want Me (Book 1). I especially was not happy and very jealous that she would get the best Hennington. I got over it though. And as I kept reading about her I loved her more and more. So I don't even remember why I didn't care for her much! She was such a powerful woman. Angie was so overcome with emotions and a lot of things were going on. She handled it well. I just love that she is so strong.

Wyatt. Oh, Wyatt. Since the very beginning he was my one true love. Zach was alright. I mean he was sweet and attentive but I never really fell for him. Wyatt made me fall for him in book one so you can't imagine my excitement when I finally got my hands on this book. Wyatt was everything I wanted him to be. Cowboy, fun, and in his own way romantic. He just had this likability about him. There is no way that you can't like him. To me he is perfection.

Say You Want Me blew me away with it's content, emotions, and characters. Corinne Michaels really knows how to pack a book with everything it needs to make it amazing. There was not one thing that I disliked. I highly recommend you read this beautiful and heartfelt story, it will not disappoint.

[Cover Reveal] After We Fall by Melanie Harlow

Blurb

Jack Valentini isn’t my type.
Sexy, brooding cowboys are fine in the movies, but in real life, I prefer a suit and tie. Proper manners. A close shave.
Jack might be gorgeous, but he’s also scruffy, rugged, and rude. He wants nothing to do with a “rich city girl” like me, and he isn’t afraid to say so.
But I’ve got a PR job to do for his family’s farm, so he’s stuck with me and I’m stuck with him. His glares. His moods. His tight jeans. His muscles.
His huge, hard muscles.
Pretty soon there’s a whole different kind of tension between us, the kind that has me misbehaving in barns, trees, and pickup trucks. I’ve never done anything so out of character—but it feels too good to stop.
And the more I learn about the grieving ex-Army sergeant, the better I understand him. Losing his wife left him broken and bitter and blaming himself. He doesn’t think he deserves a second chance at happiness.
But he’s wrong.
I don’t need to be his first love. If only he’d let me be his last.

Were you hot for the Winslows?
Katy Regnery's New York Times bestselling Blueberry Lane series continues with The Rousseau siblings in 2016!
For as long as Madeleine “Mad” Rousseau can remember, she’s been the “sweet” twin to her sister Jax’s “sassy.”
But after an especially painful break-up, Mad decides she’s had enough of being sweet.
Children’s librarian during the day, she begins visiting Philly’s seedier nightspots on a quest for adventure.
When Cortlandt “Cort” Ambler, the ex-boyfriend of Mad’s sister, Jax, saves her from disaster on one such evening, an unlikely friendship is born between the rebellious librarian and the moonlighting pianist…and two broken hearts begin a journey toward being whole again.

EXCERPT:
She stood on the sidewalk facing him, a sweet smile on her lips.
Cort gestured to his front door with a flick of his chin.
“Want to come in?”
“Yes. But we have to talk first.”
“What happened to ‘Take me to bed’?”
 She sighed.
“Fresh air cleared my head.”
He glanced down at his swollen cock, all but bursting against the zipper of his jeans.
“I’m dying a little here, baby.”
Her eyes followed his, dancing with mirth when she looked back up at him.
“So I see.”
“I’m not alone either,” he said, dropping his eyes to her nipples, which strained against her thin, billowy blouse.
“No,” she said, her voice slightly lower, her smile giving way to a hotter, more needy look.
“You’re not.”
 “So let’s talk inside.”
 She shook her head no.
“Here.”
Cort sighed, hitching her flowered bag a little higher on his shoulder, waiting for her to continue.
“No talking about Jax or Thatcher,” she said.
“If you talk about Jax, I won’t be able to stay. I’ll feel too guilty. And if you talk about Thatcher, I’ll feel too angry. Promise?”
 “I promise.”
She took a step closer to him.
“And this one’s big…No falling in love with each other. We’re just about impossible, you and me, so we can’t—you know—bring that sort of emotion into this. We can enjoy each other, but that’s all, Cort. Promise.”
 He flinched as she finished.
He could feel the involuntary muscle reaction that narrowed his eyes and told him that it was too late. It was a lifetime too late to tell him not to love her, because he’d loved her for most of his life.
Her gentleness, her quiet grace, the peace he’d always found in her presence now combined with the scorching chemistry between them that couldn’t be denied.
Over and over again throughout his life, he’d looked for her, tried to find someone like her, but his heart had fixed on hers so long ago, it was all but impossible for him not to love her.
The only way he could promise her was to promise not to “fall” this weekend, only because he’d already fallen years before.
 “I promise not to fall.”
She smiled at him, though the smile had lost a bit of the lightheartedness it had held minutes earlier. “Do you need any promises from me?”
He nodded, closing the distance between them.
“Yeah, I do.”
Her eyes widened, flaring with heat, the black of her pupils obliterating the green of her irises as she pressed her breasts against his chest.
“Promise to leave nothing on the table, Mad. Give me everything you’ve got for twenty-four hours.” “Except…”
Her voice broke.
 “Except my love. I promise.”
His heart clenched at her omission, and it made him want to push her out of her comfort zone a little. “Promise to touch me everywhere with your hot little mouth.”
“I promise,” she murmured, her throat moving as she swallowed.
 His eyes narrowed.
“Promise to open your legs so I can slide inside of you as if I’ve been doing it all my life.”
“Cort,” she whimpered, her eyes fluttering closed as she looked down at where her chest heaved into his.
“I need you.”

"Baby you're music"

Katy has done it again! This book stole my heart from page one.  Between Jax and Mad's story, Mad's is my favorite. Set during the same time frame and Jax's story, Mad's story was more than I expected.

Being Jax's twin makes Mad seem like the sweet sister, but what if Mad no longer wants to be sweet? After disastrous evening, on what should be a night when she celebrates, she runs into the last person she ever expected too, Cort Ambler, Jax's old high school boyfriend. The connection she feels for him is only supposed to be friendly, or is it? Mad has a sweet, sweet soul who deserves some happiness after the hell she has been through. Between Mad and Jax, Mad is my favorite. I loved the need to protect and the need to be adventurous side Mad has.

Cort runs into someone he least excepts while working in a Philly bar. The need to be with her has always been there, yet it's never happened. Can he be her friend or will the desire to be something else happen? I loved how persistent Cort was. He didn't want to quit anything without a fight. Once he knew what he wanted, he was going to show Mad just how much he'd fight.

I loved their story. I loved show sweet Cort is towards Mad and how their relationship developed. I'm looking forward to JC's story next.

Review
**4 stars**
Oh how I enjoyed this book. I've heard about The Blurberry Lane series but I hadn't read any of them until this book. This was such a cute love story and Katy Regnery did such a great job at telling it.

Jax is a beautiful character. After swearing off love, she wasn't prepared for her run in with Gardner. I loved how she loves and protects. I loved her desire to better herself and doesn't stop fulfilling her dreams at the same point.

Gardner, oh that sweet man. He seems to be a little rough on the outside at first but you soon fall in love with him and who he is. He hasn't had it easy recently due to an unfortunate event, but he carries on and lives life daily with little help. He wasn't prepared to met Jax or the presence she'd bring in his life, but it couldn't have happen to a better man.

Jax and Gard's story was sweet and perfect for them. I can't wait for Mad's story!

[Review] To Love and To Cherish by Lauren Layne

Title:  To Love and To Cherish
Author: Lauren Layne
Series: The Wedding Belles, Book 3
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release DateOctober 18, 2016
Format: eARC (NetGalley)

Sex and the City meets The Wedding Planner in The Wedding Belles, a contemporary and witty romance series about three high-powered New York City women who can plan any wedding—but their own.
Alexis Morgan has spent the past six years devoted to turning her tiny start-up into Manhattan’s premiere wedding planning company, The Wedding Belles. Now that her business is thriving, it’s time to turn towards her much neglected personal life, and Alexis approaches her relationships like she does everything else: with a plan. Not a part of that plan is Logan Harris, the silent partner in the Belles, and the one person who’s been there for her since the very beginning. But Alexis needs someone fun, and Logan’s all business, all the time—except when a late night at the office ends with an unexpected kiss that leaves the usually cool and together Alexis reeling.
Logan has lusted after Alexis since the day he walked into the tiny Harlem apartment that used to double as her office. But the ambitious wedding planner has always been untouchable...until now. Alexis has made it clear that she’s on the dating market—and equally clear that he’s not in the running. But when Alexis finds herself in need of a date for her sister’s last minute wedding in Florida, Logan knows it’s the perfect time to show Alexis that there’s more to him than numbers and spreadsheets—and beneath the pinstripes and glasses lies a hot-blooded heartthrob. As Florida’s sultry days turn into even hotter nights, Logan’s out to convince Alexis that the fling of a lifetime could just maybe turn into forever...

Review
**4.5 stars**
Since book 1 of the Wedding Belles series I have been waiting for Logan and Alexis to get together. Their story was everything I wanted it to be.

Alexis is my favorite character out of this series because of how strong she is. She owns her own extremely successful company and provides bride's with the ending of their dreams. Her coworkers have become some of her closet friends, but her life is missing something. A man. Or is it? Enter Logan.

Logan, the sexy Brit who is in love with the forever stubborn Alexis. Coming to America at 18, he hasn't left. Eight years he met the woman of his dreams, but convincing her of that will be the challenge of his life.

The chemistry of Alexis and Logan is felt from book 1 with the small glimpses you see of them. The chemistry between them in this book is off the charts. Logan knows how to handle Alexis and her moods, he knows her. He loves her. Can he wait for Alexis to realize that she loves him in return though?  I'm sad the series came to an end, but it couldn't have ended better.

Blurb

Falling in love is easy.

Falling out of love is the hardest thing in the world.

And Elin and Ty Whitt are terrible at it.

The first time the local basketball star smiled at Elin, she was a goner. It was just so damn easy to fall for the dark-haired hometown hero with his charming smile and strong, athletic build.

Thousands of sleepy smiles, aimless drives down country roads, and squeaks of the backdoor after a swing shift later, reality hits. And it hits hard. Falling in love was definitely the easy part. Watching it break apart was impossible.

Through the tears, the second-guesses, the memories of a life built together, the world keeps spinning. With each turn comes clarity and hope—sometimes in the form of a pair of muddy boots by the back door or from the words of a wise friend.

When Ty shows back up with a new found determination to put his family back together, Elin's torn between the fights of the past and the possibility of a new start. This is the man that holds her heart, the man she loves beyond anything else. But this is also the one person in the world that can cause her the most pain.

Life’s not always easy. Love’s not for the faint of heart. But with life comes lessons and Ty and Elin have the scars to prove it. But it's their love written in those scars that will hold them together … or break them apart.

Excerpt

I pull her into me, trying to put her, me, our life back together with my embrace. Her arms find my waist, and I hold her in the middle of the driveway, swaying back and forth in a moment I’ll never, ever forget. The feeling of my world careening back into focus, into the places it should be, nearly drops me to my knees with my girl in my arms.

“I should go in,” she says, looking up at me.

“It’s cold in there.”

She shrugs and I see her start to slip away from me again. Frantic, I struggle to find a way to stop it.

“Let’s go for a drive,” I suggest.

She looks at me warily.

“It’s just a drive,” I promise. “The house can warm up and then I’ll drop you back off, if that’s what you want. What can it hurt?”

“You won’t try to make out with me or anything, right?” she teases. “Because I know that look in your eye, Tyler Whitt.”

“Only if you ask,” I wink, opening the door to my truck and watching her climb in. Before I shut it, I lean in and whisper into her ear. “Hey, E.”

“Yeah?”

“Please ask.”

About the Author
CD Reiss is a USA Today and Amazon bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up, she's at the well, hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels. Critics have dubbed the books "poetic," "literary," and "hauntingly atmospheric," which is flattering enough for her to put it in a bio, but embarrassing enough for her not to tell her husband, or he might think she's some sort of braggart who's too good to chop a cord of wood. If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.

Tanya and Lexy's Thoughts
**3.5 Stars**
Twisted Palace was my most anticipated read yet.  I was waiting for this book as soon as I finished the last words of Broken Prince. The first two books had me hooked. I lived, breathed, and dreamt about the Royals. I spoke about these books to my friends and anyone who would listen. So you can imagine my disappointment when I got to this book. It was good but it wasn’t as good as I hoped. I wanted more drama, more suspense, and more shock but Twisted Palace lacked these things.

I won’t talk about the plot or anything that goes on because I would ruin the book for you. I will just say that a lot of crazy happened. We see read in a though situation, the toughest yet. I saw little way out. Although I saw Reed, I was missing the other Royal boys. They didn’t make an appearance as much in the other two books and I missed that. I wanted more closeness but it didn’t happen.

Ella was my favorite character since the beginning. She had strength and power. In this book I was missing a lot of the characteristics that made me fall in love with her. She didn’t have passion. I wanted her to be her own character and stand up for herself. There was once part that just had me boiling over because that did not seem like an Ella thing.

The plot wasn’t strong enough. I thought it could be improved on to make it flow more easily. Another thing that I didn’t like was that the ending was so rushed! It happened to quickly and it didn’t give me enough time to process the whole thing. If it would have continued a little more and had more explanation it would have been great! The end could have included more Reed and Ella too. So overall the book could have done better but even with all these negative things I enjoyed the story. Now I am really excited for Easton. He will be the next book and I couldn’t be more excited because this book set it up good! There were little snippets and clues but not enough so it kept me guessing! I can’t wait to read more from these authors!
**3.5 stars**
I waited for this book for months. I needed it. I re-read books 1&2 to prepare, I was dying to know what happened, but once I read it? I felt let down. All of the anticipation and suspense I was looking for just wasn't there compared to the others in the series. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. I was just a let down. I can't describe it.

I won't go into detail about the plot or anything that gives away the story, but I felt compared to Paper Princess and Broken Prince, the plot wasn't as strong. It felt rushed. With Paper Princess and Broken Prince there was so much drama and suspense, which made me love it, but when it comes to Twisted Palace, it just wasn't there. I didn't get the secondary characters which were just as much of the story as Reed and Ella.

Reed seemed to "mellow" which was different from him in the other ones and give him. Ella was portrayed as strong and passionate in books 1 & 2, but it just wasn't there this time around. Had the book been a little longer and not have felt as rushed, I think it would have been better. The end could have been more in depth with Reed, Ella and the other Royal boys (I seriously missed them in this book). I'm excited for Easton's book though, because it's Easton. we see Easton all throughout the books and I can't wait to get to know him more than just the snippets we get of him.

I can't wait to see what else these two authors can come up with though, because overall, their gift is amazing! Bring on the next Erin Watt book!
